The Perfect Honeymoon Packing

Packing for me is a nightmare, I shove everything in my suitcase, and come back having not worn half of them. Then I think about how I could have avoided paying for extra luggage, because mine was too heavy. But my way of thinking is that you need options - right?

So in this blog post I have created a honeymoon or holiday packing law. I have even organised my own suitcase more recently from it (well sort of).

Essential honeymoon packing consists of toiletries, daywear, evening wear, sleepwear and Must-Haves.

It is important to consider all the places you are going and all the activities you will be taking part in. Examples are if you are hiking, take hiking boots, if you are walking around cities a lot, take comfortable footwear, if it will be cool temperature, prepare your wardrobe for a chilly evening and possible night, if it is sunny and hot, ensure you have sun protection etc.

This packing list will be for a traditional one week stay at a relaxing resort such as seychelles or maritiaus and the second week to Tanzania in Africa - or some other form of activity trip.

Let's go through each of the categories and break it down...



Tooth brush, tooth paste, hair brush, hair spray, hair gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, make up and any other essentials.

Now because both destinations will be hot, you might want to bring sun screen lotion, and a beach towel?



Tops, trousers, three quarter length trousers, shorts, skirts, underwear, socks if you are wearing trainers or hiking boots, comfortable footwear, swimwear, flip flops, hat ...



Shirt, trousers, dress, skirt, cardigan, shawl, shoes, make up, hair styling products and electronics, jewellery, belts, purse, clutch, Handbag ...



Pj's or alternative, any intricate items you want to share on your honeymoon ... I will let your imagination run wild with this.
