{Inspiration} Its not all about Red on Valentines day

Good Morning my lovelies and Happy Valentines to you all!

Valentines day has been around for some centuries and for a long time now, red has been the associated colour for this 'one day of love'. February is suppose to be the most romantic month in the calendar, however so far it was been cold, cold .. and very cold. But that may be different for you wherever in the World you may be.

So to break all traditions, as we at Shaadi-Esque love to do; we are showcasing an inspiration board for peach, pink and subtle tones of cream. If Shaadi-Esque had it our own way, we would make a lot more changes to St Valentine's promising day of Roses and gifts.

This absolutely adorable inspiration board is full of chic, suave, elegant and pretty stylish all mixed in one.

Just some light and fluffy romance inspiration board to sweep you off your feet on this well celebrated Valentines day!

Keeping you Inspired!!

{Inspiration Board} Chic Secret Garden with a Colourful Retro Perspective

So Monday morning is among us, wipe away those sleepy eyes and have that double shot of espresso that will get you jumping off the walls to start this very gloomy week. To help you out a little and shocking you into this week I would like to introduce to you a retro chic inspiration board. Full of quirky ideas and fun colours.

I love putting together these inspiration boards for brides-to-be planning their big day. You can get so creative, create pretty much anything from a simple idea. This retro chic idea is half DIY and half damn-right awesome!

1, 2, 3, 4

The dress is a quirky, retro, fun styled number and you know what - it is great for hiding any unflattering areas on your body which you want to hide. So we are already off to a great start. This wedding I picture to be outdoors, in a field with long and short grass, wild lavender growing, a wonderful garden area with a trimmed hedge maze, amazing ivy and white roses draping from the trees and around a huge entrance gateway. Almost like the Secret garden, but instead of children you find a retro chic wedding kitted out with a scooter or 60's caravan - are you seeing my vision now? These candles lit in jars make a crafty yet cool idea that will look pretty on any evening. The more candles you add the more funk you contribute to the scene. You can't have a retro theme and be drinking malibu and Coke??!! Oh NO! These multicoloured 'pop' styled bottles add a little something extra to a fun-filled wedding theme. And what colourful wedding would be complete without some tasty macaroons. Mmm!!

So folks here you have it - my Secret Garden with a Retro Chic Style! I hope you love love loved this and I wish you the most fab monday and a brilliant week ahead!!!

Keeping you inspired!

{Wedding Feature} A Fairytale Bliss for Kandarp and Purvi

This morning on the blog I bring you a refreshing wedding tale of two beautiful people and their Fairytale bliss.

This glorious outdoor wedding by Kandarp and Purvi, has made my morning. I love it when couples create a wedding unlike any other, especially as a guest, attending that cookie cutter wedding year in and year out can get a little tiresome. But this quaint couple have brought elegance, grandeur and chic all in one decadent picturesque wedding. Thanks to Tapas Maiti for these wonderful imagery we can see this pristine wedding in all its spectacle. Enjoy these images of a seamless and demure wedding.

The beautiful bride prepping for her walk down the aisle, with her make-up artist by her side, a pampering life it is to be in a fairytale. The blue skies and spectacular sunshine illuminate this setting in all its glory. The Mandap has an open roof and the seating area is splashed with royal maroons and gold sashes.

But what cannot be ignored in this wedding is their royal horse and carriage in true Cinderella style. Tapas Maiti said that this wedding, "it was one of my favourites of the year".

This gorgeous birdcage centrepiece theme which was relayed on this sweet, demure cake just adds simple touches of awesomeness which cannot be faulted.

I feel as if this last image should go on the last page of a fairy tale book with the words 'happily ever after'.

Sincere thank you to Tapas Maiti Photography for your Wonderful Images.

I hope you are all feeling inspired and loving this fantastic wedding.

Have a wonderful first day back to work!!
